Title: From Fan Dreams to Journalist Realities: My Journey Begins (and Continues!)

"Hello everyone, and welcome! I'm Cindy Wright, and I'm so excited to start this new chapter with you. For years, music has been more than just a passion for me—it't been a driving force. And now, I'm thrilled to share my journey with you through my upcoming book, 'From Fan to Journalist: A Backstage Pass.'

Many of you know me as someone deeply involved in the music world, whether through my interviews, my blog, or simply my enthusiasm at concerts. But what you might not know is how it all began. Like many of you, I started as a fan. I remember the thrill of discovering new artists, the excitement of live shows, and the way music could transport me to another world.

That passion led me on an incredible adventure. It started with a single article about American Idol and then I found myself interviewing artists I had admired for years. Taylor Hicks, Chubby Checker, Luke Bryan, and so many more—each conversation was a dream come true. You can find a list of the artist website links that are located within the book on my website.

'From Fan to Journalist: A Backstage Pass' is the story of that journey. It's about more than just the interviews; it's about the power of music, the dedication of fans, and the unexpected turns life can take. I wanted to create a book that shows what is possible when you follow your dreams.

But my story doesn't stop there. While I was working on 'From Fan to Journalist: A Backstage Pass', I also published another book, 'Two Families, One Town.' This book tells the story of two families in a small town, where past wounds run deep and lives become intertwined. Each family carries scars of abuse and the weight of alcoholism, struggling to break free from cycles of pain. As they navigate their paths to healing, their journeys echo each other in unexpected ways. Through heartbreak and resilience, they discover that healing isn't always about finding each other—it's about finding themselves. 'Two Families, One Town' is a powerful tale of survival, redemption, and the enduring strength of the human spirit, a story of pain and hope, proving that even the deepest wounds can begin to heal when met with courage and love. And my writing journey continues! I'm currently working on a new book, a horror book in the theme of Stephen King called Tide of Shadows. I'm excited to share more about that project in the future.

Beyond my work in music, I'm also deeply committed to supporting families and children. My background in education and my current role as a Family Advocate at Head Start have taught me the importance of resilience and the power of community. These experiences have shaped my perspective and enriched my writing.

This blog will be a place where I can share more of those stories, behind-the-scenes glimpses into my interviews, and insights into the music industry. I also want to connect with you, my readers, and hear about your own experiences with music and life.
